United States“Never again SUN CHARTER !!”
Be careful in Mallorca, if you are not German mother tongue, they will probably fool you. It was our case (we’re Swiss citizens) as well as for 3 other clients during the same week this Summer, French, English and Italian citizens. The base managers of SUN CHARTER, Jens and Ines RIEGEL, are neither nice nor correct.

“no more sun charter”
Boat (SO 39 Sardegna) in very bad Condition, lost 3 days with repairing. Lots of Barnacles under water, broken railing, outbord Enginge damaged, etc., very disapointing, never more.

“Family charter”
A family charter on the Sunrise from Corfu took place. The yacht in a good tech. condition. The company's staff is friendly, work quickly, tried to satisfy our requests. For example, on our yacht there was no pan from the kitchen utensils. Promptly issued. Chek-out with a diver, quickly and without unnecessary nit-picking. All liked it.

Do I need sailing or boating license for the bareboat charter?
In most of the regions, like the Caribbean, South-East Asia, Oceania, no special sailing documents are needed for the bareboat charter. The only thing you need to provide is your sailing resume, so that the base manager can see if you are qualified enough to rent Dufour 412 Sailing yacht in Mallorca / Spain. Once you get the approval, you are good to go.
