Established in 2009, 12 Knots has grown into one of the most reputable booking platforms for boat rentals and sailing vacations. Originally founded as a sailing school with its operational base in Montenegro, a popular charter destination, the company noticed a unique trend: students who were learning to sail were also seeking charter companies to apply their newfound skills.
In response, we began compiling contacts and building a database of charter companies to share with our customers. What started as a modest listing of 100 boats has expanded into an online database of 22,000 vessels, including sailboats, powerboats, motor yachts, trimarans, and catamarans.
HOW IT WORKS
We believe finding and booking a boat or sailing vacation should be effortless. Our streamlined process allows you to search, book, and sail in just three easy steps, making your next sailing trip a breeze.
Our website consolidates information from 800 charter companies, providing online availability for 20,000 boats. This eliminates the need to send multiple inquiries to separate companies; all the information and pricing is available in one convenient place.
SEARCH
Customers can search for yachts by destination, dates, and preferences. Filters help refine choices by type of vessel, size, or additional features.
COMPARE
Each listing includes comprehensive details, including specifications, amenities, availability, and transparent pricing.
BOOK
Once a yacht is selected, customers can reserve it online. A dedicated support team assists with payment, travel arrangements, and additional services, such as provisioning and itinerary planning.
