12 Knots sailing courses
Is a recreational certificate of competency for command of sailing and/or power vessels up to 24 meters in length up to 60 nm offshore. It is a comprehensive live aboard course consisting of 6 days for sail or 5 days for power which includes the practical on water examination.
Those who have sufficient sailing experience and hold IYT Bareboat Skipper License. This sailing course is available for those candidates who already logged 30 days and 800 nm at sea as a skipper.

10 days live aboard course on power or sailing yacht. The key objective of the course is to teach candidates to become a recreational sailing yacht skipper and be able to charter and handle big cruising yachts on their own.
Ideal for those who already have little sailing experience and would like to learn coastal navigation.

5-day sailing course on board of a cruising yacht. The main objective of the course is to teach basic sailing terminology, parts and functions, basic sail trim, helm commands, seamanship and safety.
Ideal for candidates with little to no previous sailing experience who wish to train to become an active crew member on a power or sailing yacht.

More than 27 years of sailing experience. 25,000 nautical miles navigated in the Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Has great experience in long-range crossings and ocean passages in variable weather conditions. Sailing and meteorology instructor in Spanish sailing federation (“Federacion de Vela de la Comunidad Valenciana” (FVCV)). Author of the book “La Vela: Teoria y Tecnica” (Sail: Theory and Practice). Now used as manual in FVCV. Hobbies: licensed diver, licensed aircraft pilot Education: engineer, MBA graduate of Boston EE. UU Italian, fluent in: Italian, English, Spanish
Qualifications: Yacht Master Ocean. More then 15,000 nautical miles as a skipper in Spain, Italy, France, Scotland, Croatia, Malta, Greece, Seychelles, Malaysia, Norway, Sweden, Greece and USA. Over 50 weeks of Day Sailing and Coastal courses in the last 3 years. Two Trans-Atlantic passages as a skipper in 2010 and 2012 from Tenerife to Dominican Republic and back.
