You can easily get to Montenegro from most of European countries.  There are two international airports, one in Podgorica and the other in  Tivat located close to the Kotor Bay. Dubrovnik airport in Croatia is  also only 40 minutes away by taxi from Montenegro.

Bay of Kotor is located on the northwest of  the country and known as the best sailing and yachting spot in  Montenegro. In summer, the water temperature rises up to 26 C, while air  is 30 C. Wind and navigation conditions in Montenegro may vary.  Spring and autumn considered to be the best time for sailing races,  winds are stable and it is not very hot. Porto Montenegro is one of the most modern and luxury marinas in  Montenegro. Opened in 2009 it is now grew up to a complex with it’s own  hotels, apartments, restaurants, schools, museums, sports center and  yacht club. Porto Montenegro is located in  the vicinity of three international airports: Tivat (7 km), Dubrovnik  (46 km), Podgorica (90 km).

It is one of the best natural harbors  in Europe with uneven rocky shoreline looking like a fjord, but in fact  is just an enormous river canyon. Budva is a great place to visit while sailing in Montenegro. It is  famous for its beaches and incessant nightlife. All night under the  stars, you can have fun in numerous local bars and restaurants in old  town of Tivat and Kotor.
Take a chance and sail to the beach of Ulcinj - it is one of the longest sand beaches in Montenegro also shallow and uncrowned.
