Lithuania“Better to be avoided”
A bunch of crooks who's about to cache in on every customer. We’ve had an accident with another boat which wasn’t our fault. Spartivento held our deposit and blackmailed us so that we agree to pay them 1000 euro and keep our mouths shut in terms of any negative feedback. After we refused and complained to the agent and disputed the transaction in the bank Spartivento owned up to receiving full compensation from the insurance company and said that they would return our deposit in full if only we dropped our statutory right to complaint or leave negative feedback. There is no other word for it than blackmail! Avoid them at all cost!

Do I need sailing or boating license for the bareboat charter?
In most of the regions, like the Caribbean, South-East Asia, Oceania, no special sailing documents are needed for the bareboat charter. The only thing you need to provide is your sailing resume, so that the base manager can see if you are qualified enough to rent Oceanis 51.1 (Gen+A/C) Sailing yacht in Italy coastal. Once you get the approval, you are good to go.
On the other hand for bareboat charter in Europe and some other countries you have to provide internationally recognized sailing certificates like: IYT Bareboat Skipper, RYA Day Skipper, ASA 104 plus IPC. Ask booking manager for the requirements. Detailed information here: BBC things to know
