Ionian Islands Sailing Cruise from Lefkada
7-Day Sailing Vacation in Greece
Sailing Cruise Itinerary
**This is a sample itinerary. The actual itinerary may be adjusted by the captain or the service provider due to weather conditions or other reasons.
Day
1
Vliho on Lefkada
Step on board the beautiful Katja and get comfortable. We welcome you with a cold drink or coffee and make sure you know your way around the boat. Vliho offers excellent restaurants and tavernas, including some of the finest dining spots in the Ionian Sea.
Day
2
Little Vathy on Meganisi
After a day of sailing and swimming, we arrive on Meganisi, in the lively fishing harbour of Vathy. As it is not the only Vathy in the area, we lovingly call it “Little Vathy.” The town has both traditional tavernas and modern restaurants, while the island invites curious explorers to enjoy short walks around its beautiful bays.
Day
3
Kastos island
One of the hidden gems of the Ionian Sea, Kastos is a small island with a single charming village. Its three tavernas each offer something different, while the local bars are perfect for a sundowner with a view or, famously, some of the richest ice cream in Greece.
Day
4
Big Vathy on Ithaka
Interested in sightseeing and souvenir shopping? Big Vathy on Ithaca has you covered. In the largest harbour on our route, the difficult choice is deciding which outstanding fish restaurant to visit for dinner. Enjoy a drink or ice cream in the lively streets, or walk around the bay to discover tiny beaches and lush nature just around the corner.
Day
5
Lonely Bay
Leave the crowds behind and marvel at the stars. Tonight, we anchor in a small bay and prepare dinner on board. Whether you want to go for a night swim, snorkel, or simply relax in the nets and enjoy the peace and quiet, this is the perfect place to unwind. And where exactly is it? We won’t know until we arrive.
Day
6
Sivota on Lefkada
In this charming little harbour, people from around the area gather to enjoy the Greek lifestyle. Go shopping, have a beer at the pirate bar, and watch the yachts come and go throughout the day. The best spot for “harbour cinema” is on one of the balconies of the restaurants surrounding the sheltered bay.
Day
7
Vliho on Lefkada
Back at our home base, we turn up the music, grab a bucket and brush, and clean the deck together. It is more fun than it sounds, especially with a cold drink in your hand and the promise of a hot shower and one last delicious dinner together. In the morning, it is time to say goodbye - and maybe we will see each other again on the next cruise.

Customer reviews
How customer reviews and ratings work
We use the Average with Prior (also known as Bayesian Average) to calculate the total rating for each sailing cruise
Since new cruises could have very few reviews, each review can significantly impact the average score, potentially leading to misleading representations of the total score (e.g., one very positive or very negative review skewing the overall rating). To mitigate this, we use a "prior" or "default" score.
This means that each cruise, by default, starts with a rating of 4, which is calculated from 5 hypothetical reviews, each rated 4. This assumption provides a baseline level of performance that is neutral-to-positive.
For example, if a new cruise receives a 5-star review, the total rating will be adjusted to 4.17. Here's how it is calculated: (4 × 5) + 5 = 25 and then divided by the total number of reviews 6 (5 default + 1 actual review), resulting in 4.17
As more reviews come in, the weight of the actual reviews increases, and the influence of the prior diminishes.
