Our journey begins at Marina Preveza, where all guests meet for a warm welcome and short safety briefing. Once everyone is on board, we set sail to begin exploring the beautiful local waters.

Meganisi
We’ll set sail toward the charming island of Meganisi. Along the way, enjoy swimming stops in turquoise bays such as Porto Varco or Porto Spilia, known for their crystal-clear waters and striking rock formations. Upon arrival in Vathi, a picturesque harbor surrounded by olive-covered hills, you’ll find a peaceful village atmosphere with waterfront tavernas and traditional stone houses. Take a stroll along the promenade or enjoy dinner by the sea, sampling fresh seafood and local specialties as the sun sets over the Ionian.

Lefkas
Sail along Lefkas’ scenic southern coast toward the lively bay of Vasiliki. En route, stop in Sivota for lunch or a refreshing swim in its calm, sheltered harbor. Vasiliki is famous for its steady afternoon winds, making it a world-renowned windsurfing destination, but it’s equally enjoyable for relaxed beach time. Spend the afternoon swimming at Agiofili Beach or strolling along the waterfront. In the evening, dine at a local taverna such as Taverna Spilia, enjoying traditional dishes and a relaxed seaside atmosphere.

Today you sail south to Kefalonia, the largest Ionian island, known for its dramatic landscapes and vibrant colors. Continue to the charming harbor of Fiskardo, famous for its Venetian architecture and lively marina. Wander through narrow streets lined with pastel houses, boutiques, and cafés. In the evening, enjoy dinner by the water at one of the island’s renowned tavernas, sampling local wine and Kefalonian specialties.

Today is yours to explore freely. Sail to mythical Ithaca, home of Odysseus, with its peaceful bays and traditional villages. Alternatively, head to Atokos, a privately owned island with crystal-clear waters and the famous One House Bay - perfect for swimming and relaxing in total seclusion. For an even quieter experience, visit Arkoudi, a wild and uninhabited island offering untouched nature and calm anchorages. Spend the day swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying the serenity of the Ionian Sea far from crowds.

Today we'll sail to Kastos is a small and unspoiled island in the Ionian Sea, perfect for a peaceful sailing stop away from the crowds. Known for its crystal-clear waters, quiet coves, and traditional village charm, the island offers an authentic Greek island experience. We'll moor in the picturesque harbor, so you will enjoy swim in turquoise bays and relaxed meal at a family-run taverna at the end of the day.

Time to head back to Preveza. We’ll sail along Meganisi’s scenic eastern coastline. Take time for a final swim in a secluded bay or enjoy lunch at anchor before heading back to the marina. Arrive in Preveza in the late afternoon and prepare for your last evening ashore. For a memorable farewell dinner, visit Rachi Restaurant, perched above the coastline, offering panoramic views and delicious local dishes - an ideal way to conclude your Ionian sailing adventure.

After breakfast, complete check-out and the final boat inspection at the marina. Spend your last day exploring Preveza at a relaxed pace, enjoying a walk along the promenade or visiting nearby beaches.

During the sailing tour in Greece dinner is usually enjoyed ashore in local restaurants once the yacht is moored for the night.

Sailing Itinerary & Weather Conditions
The 8 days itinerary is planned in advance; however, Greece Ionian Sea Cabin Charter - Sailing Cruise may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, port availability, and the captain's safety decisions.

Payment & Cancellation
No-obligation reservation (3 day hold).
No payment is required until the booking agreement is signed.
Payment terms:
- Down payment: 30%
- Balance: due 60 days before departure
- Extras: payable in advance, at least 60 days before the charter
Cancellation policy:
- 30% of the charter fee is retained for cancellations made 61 days before departure
- 100% of the total charter fee is non-refundable for cancellations made 60 days or less prior to the charter

We use the Average with Prior (also known as Bayesian Average) to calculate the total rating for each sailing cruise
Since new cruises could have very few reviews, each review can significantly impact the average score, potentially leading to misleading representations of the total score (e.g., one very positive or very negative review skewing the overall rating). To mitigate this, we use a "prior" or "default" score.
This means that each cruise, by default, starts with a rating of 4, which is calculated from 5 hypothetical reviews, each rated 4. This assumption provides a baseline level of performance that is neutral-to-positive.
For example, if a new cruise receives a 5-star review, the total rating will be adjusted to 4.17. Here's how it is calculated: (4 × 5) + 5 = 25 and then divided by the total number of reviews 6 (5 default + 1 actual review), resulting in 4.17
As more reviews come in, the weight of the actual reviews increases, and the influence of the prior diminishes.
