For bareboat charter in Turkey, a valid sailing license is required: IPC (International Proficiency Certificate) issued by ASA, US Sailing, NauticEd, RYA, IYT, or another certified school. “Always video your yacht on handover.”

The Fethiye Saysail company appear to be cutting a few corners - no pilot guide provided and no fans on Sarsala. The yachts are in good condition, but we took a video of the yacht before we left the marina. This video saved us from having to pay for existing damage to the boat - 2 points of damage were picked up by the team when we returned the yacht, but luckily our video enabled us to prove that we did not cause the damage.

“Catamaran Bali 4.6”

We took Bali 4,6 Solo Star catamaran (2024 year of manufacture specially chose a new one!) from 14.06 to 20.06 All week almost every day we solved (agonized) problems on our own - air conditioners did not work, from one toilet overflowed over the edge, we scrubbed the floors, many outlets did not work, constantly running out of fresh water in the tanks, and black tanks (flush toilet water) constantly overfilled - as it turned out when we returned the catamaran was broken some mechanism. The fuel gauge was faulty, so it was not clear how much fuel was used up, how much was refilled, how much was left. After handing over the boat we were billed for 350 euros for a non-working sensor light in the instrument area. Which did not work before us! Plus on the last day the anchor broke, we could not get up and swim, minus one day out of the vacation! WE HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHARTER COMPANY! And yes - the tuzik was without a motor, row your own oars as you want! We looked for and took a motor elsewhere!
