Discover secluded beaches, hidden caves, and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Indulge in fresh seafood and local cuisine, and soak up the relaxed island atmosphere. A sailing vacation from Palermo to the Egadi Islands is a true escape to paradise, offering unforgettable memories and an incredible connection with nature.

Day 1 Palermo

Palermo

Check-in at 5pm in Palermo the capital city of Sicily and a popular sailing destination. After a short briefing dinner and nigh on board.

Day 2 San Vito Lo Capo

Breakfast on board and route to San Vito Lo Capo, navigation along the coast to the Riserva dello Zingaro up to San Vito Lo Capo, a fishing port that has become a pleasant tourist resort with its characteristic long sandy beach. You will go ashore with the tender for an aperitif, dinner or even just a walk in the village. Overnight at anchor in the bay of San Vito Lo Capo.

Day 3 Favignana

In the morning we'll set up sails to Favignana, the largest of the islands, with its characteristic butterfly shape. The name derives from the construction stone, called Favignana, which is extracted from the tuff quarries. Once you arrive, you will stop for a dip and relax in Cala Rossa, a symbolic cove of the island, which offers both rocks and sand set in a sea that embraces shades ranging from blue to light blue. For the evening you will enter the port where you can go down comfortably in the main village of the island.

Day 4 Marettimo

We circumnavigate Favignana with a stop in Cala Pozzo or Cala Rotonda. Navigation to Marettimo (about 3 hours) and arrival in the late afternoon in the furthest of the Egadi islands, Marettimo. Thanks to its remoteness, the rugged nature of the mountain and the low human impact on the environment, it preserves a very precious vegetative and faunal heritage, where unique Mediterranean species have been able to live. We will go down with the tender to visit the village and if you want to dine in its renowned restaurants and taste the soup with Egadi lobster. Overnight at anchor in the Bay of Porticciolo di Marettimo.

Day 5 Levanzo

Marettimo, a walk on the ground in the wild island dominated by Monte Falcone is full of beautiful natural caves, famous for excursions along the paths that lead to the ruins of Roman houses and a marine reserve. We set up sails to Punta Troia to see the recently restored Castle of Punta Troia. Lunch on board and in the late afternoon we'll sail to the small town of Levanzo. Levanzo (in Sicilian Lèvanzu) is made up of white limestone rocks that have numerous caves.

Day 6 San Vito Lo Capo

In the morning we'll head to Cala Fredda for lunch and relaxation. In the late afternoon we'll set up sails to San Vito lo Capo. Night in the port or at anchor or in the port depending on the weather conditions. Explore the town of San Vito Lo Capo with beautiful Piazza Santuario overlooking the sanctuary-fortress dedicated to San Vito martyr, the saint of the town. Take a walk down to the sea by via Savoia and meet sunset with musicians and street artists.

Day 7 Palermo

From San Vito we set sail towards Punta Raisi (about 5hours) and breakfast, and then a stop for swimming and relaxation at the Isola delle Femmine, which is a small and charming town located not far from Palermo and its beautiful seafront. The same name is also taken by a small islet that overlooks them right in front of it. After lunch we will calmly sail towards Palermo. Arrival in Palermo no earlier than 6 pm for the late afternoon, free evening with typical aperitifs, tastings and excellent Sicilian wines and then overnight on the boat.

How customer reviews and ratings work

We use the Average with Prior (also known as Bayesian Average) to calculate the total rating for each sailing cruise

Since new cruises could have very few reviews, each review can significantly impact the average score, potentially leading to misleading representations of the total score (e.g., one very positive or very negative review skewing the overall rating). To mitigate this, we use a "prior" or "default" score.

This means that each cruise, by default, starts with a rating of 4, which is calculated from 5 hypothetical reviews, each rated 4. This assumption provides a baseline level of performance that is neutral-to-positive.

For example, if a new cruise receives a 5-star review, the total rating will be adjusted to 4.17. Here's how it is calculated: (4 × 5) + 5 = 25 and then divided by the total number of reviews 6 (5 default + 1 actual review), resulting in 4.17

As more reviews come in, the weight of the actual reviews increases, and the influence of the prior diminishes.
