Sailing tour introduction

We invite you to join cabin charter in Italy on a modern catamaran. This yacht was built to comfortably accommodate 12 guest and 2 crew members. Book a sailing cruise and explore Amalfi on crewed yacht.

Day 1 Procida

Procida

Check-in on board of sailing catamaran in Pozzuoli base at 06:00 pm. Short passage to Corricella bay in Procida famous for its village with tightly packed houses built on top of each other in a myriad of different colors. The village is known to be a cheerful place, and offers a breathtaking view, especially when the sun is shining on the colored houses.

Enjoy an aperitif, some snacks in local restaurant or explore the main village using just stairways and snaking passages to Terra Murata or Casale Vascello. Dinner on board and night at the anchor.

Day 2 Ischia

Ischia

After traditional breakfast on board, featuring "lingue al limone," we'll set sails to Ischia, the largest island in the bay of Naples. Our sailing trip will take us near Vivara, linked to Procida by a bridge, boasting a nature reserve teeming with rare flora, rabbits, and avian life. After an hour passage we will reach the enchanting Sant’Angelo bay and the picturesque Maronti beach. While the bay itself is a marvel, be sure not to overlook the charming village or the accessible Le Fumarole beach, reached via a quaint path from the heart of the village.

Around 4:00 pm, the catamaran will anchor in a bay near Ischia Ponte, merely 4 nautical miles from Sant’Angelo. Ischia Ponte is renowned for its medieval castle, the Castello Aragonese, commanding views of the bay below. An unforgettable evening unfolds with a dinner aboard the boat beneath the castle, followed by a leisurely stroll through the enticing shops of Ischia Ponte.

Day 3 Capri

Capri

In the morning we will sail from Ischia to Capri. Explore the iconic Faraglioni rocks, venture into the captivating Blue Grotto, and witness the mesmerizing hues of the water as sunlight illuminates the caves. Take an tour around the island to visit the renowned Faro, and  stop at Marina Piccola to soak in the italian atmosphere.

We'll dock at the most famous marina to explore Capri village and its charming narrow streets adorned with shops, including La Piazzetta, Via Tragara, Via Camerelle, and more. This pier is a daily arrival point for celebrities from around the globe, stepping ashore with their mega yachts.

Day 4 Positano

Positano

We will pass near impressive Faraglioni Rocks while chart a course towards the stunning Amalfi coast. Towering mountains, adorned with distinctive colors, command attention over the picturesque bays of Nerano, Positano, and Amalfi. Covering a distance of 8.5 nautical miles, you'll have the opportunity to plunge into the deep waters of Li Galli.

Li Galli comprises three remote and rocky islands—Gallo Lungo, Castelluccio, and Rotonda—situated just a short distance from the shores of Positano, reflecting their beauty in the crystal-clear sea that graces the pearl of the Amalfi coast. Legend says that these islands were once inhabited by mermaids whose enchanting voices lured sailors, causing them to lose control of their ships and collide with the rocks.

Following a brief sail to Positano, covering 4.5 nautical miles, we'll pause to absorb the unparalleled beauty of the landscape that has catapulted Positano and the Amalfi Coast to global fame.

Day 5 Amalfi

Amalfi

Following breakfast, our sailing adventure will take us to Amalfi, passing through the enchanting landscapes of Praiano and Conca dei Marini. Along the way, we'll make a brief stop to explore the breathtaking Furore Fjord - an awe-inspiring chasm carved into the rock at the mouth of a steep valley that descends into the sea. This hidden gem features a small beach and a charming fishing village.

Spanning the fjord is a suspended bridge, elevated at 30 meters, serving as a pathway for the main coastal road. This location hosts a thrilling high diving championship in July. Just beyond Capo Conca, Amalfi unfolds—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Italy's four historical republics. Brimming with history, it boasts an array of astonishing ancient buildings and museums. Notable landmarks include the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Piazza Duomo, the Basilica del Crocifisso, the Maritime Republic's ancient arsenal, and the paper museum—just a glimpse into the wonders awaiting exploration in Amalfi.

Day 6 Sorrento

Sorrento

We recommend to take a bus excursion from Amalfi to Ravello. Located on a rocky outcrop 365 meters above sea level, Ravello stands at the heart of the Amalfi coast, providing breathtaking views of the entire Gulf of Salerno. Renowned for its irresistible allure and global fame, Ravello is a cherished destination on the Divine coast. Its perfect blend of art and music has earned its cultural recognition, designating it as a city of music. Explore enchanting landmarks such as Villa Ruffolo, Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rondinaia, and the renowned Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium.

In the afternoon we will set up sails to Sorrento. During this passage you we will view fantastic landscapes and will have a chance to swim in beautiful bays, such as Nerano bay or Marina di Puolo. The night at anchore in Sorrento bay, with the option to explore the village under the enchanting evening lights.

Day 7 Pozzuoli

Pozzuoli

In the mooring you can take a last swim in Sorrento bay or explore the town. Early afternoon, we sail back to Pozzuoli passing along Naples coast and admiring the city of Naples by the sea with its Castel dell’Ovo, Posillipo hill and Nisida island. Night in Pozzuoli Marina.

Cruise reviews

How customer reviews and ratings work

We use the Average with Prior (also known as Bayesian Average) to calculate the total rating for each sailing cruise

Since new cruises could have very few reviews, each review can significantly impact the average score, potentially leading to misleading representations of the total score (e.g., one very positive or very negative review skewing the overall rating). To mitigate this, we use a "prior" or "default" score.

This means that each cruise, by default, starts with a rating of 4, which is calculated from 5 hypothetical reviews, each rated 4. This assumption provides a baseline level of performance that is neutral-to-positive.

For example, if a new cruise receives a 5-star review, the total rating will be adjusted to 4.17. Here's how it is calculated: (4 × 5) + 5 = 25 and then divided by the total number of reviews 6 (5 default + 1 actual review), resulting in 4.17

As more reviews come in, the weight of the actual reviews increases, and the influence of the prior diminishes.
