Sailing tour introduction

Sailing holidays in France on board of a luxury crewed catamaran. Book a cabin and enjoy a trip to the most beautiful places in of Southern Corsica: Bonifacio, Propriano, Golve de Valenco and other.

Day 1 Ajaccio

Ajaccio

Boarding will be in Ajaccio late afternoon. Departure at 06.00 pm en route to Sainte Barbe in Ajaccio Bay. Dinner in the evening and night on board.

Day 2 Gulf of Valinco

Gulf of Valinco

In the morning we will head to the gulf of Valinco, beauty of which has been sung in many Corsican folk songs. Mooring in Porto Pollo, lunch, sailing around the reef Tarave: relaxation, swimming, kayaking. After lunch, catamaran will sail to the bay of Campomoro. This small town originated from a small fishing village of a few granite houses. In our days it still retains its genuine identity and charm. On the beach you will find restaurants, bars and shops. Do not miss Bastion, Genoese watchtower with its pristine architecture, located on the headland of Campomoro. Mooring for the night.

Day 3 Bonifacio

Bonifacio

Sailing to Cape Sentosa and its magnificent wild moorings, lunch in Arana cove: relaxation, swimming, snorkeling. At lunchtime we will head to Bonifacio. The entire shore of Acula is indented with tiny fjords. In the afternoon our catamaran will arrive in treasured city of South Corsica - Bonifacio. At the entrance to the port of Bonifacio - above the harbor stands a huge rock with the fortified city on top. Locals love to say that Ulysses’ black vessel once found shelter here during his Odyssey. Mooring for the night.

Day 4 Lavezzi islands

Lavezzi islands

After breakfast we will sail to Lavezzi islands. Unusual pile of rocks that gives an impression that you are back in the Stone Age. These cliffs are home to rare species of gulls nested on the stones, and below, clear turquoise waters inhabited by countless fish. In piles of immense boulders small "rooms" are shaped with walls polished by erosion. Lunch in these breathtaking surroundings, then swim and snorkel. Moored on the island of Piana. The water in this reserve is so clear that you can see it's white sandy bottom at a depth of 3-4 meters.

Day 5 Rocapina bay

Rocapina bay

How customer reviews and ratings work

We use the Average with Prior (also known as Bayesian Average) to calculate the total rating for each sailing cruise

Since new cruises could have very few reviews, each review can significantly impact the average score, potentially leading to misleading representations of the total score (e.g., one very positive or very negative review skewing the overall rating). To mitigate this, we use a "prior" or "default" score.

This means that each cruise, by default, starts with a rating of 4, which is calculated from 5 hypothetical reviews, each rated 4. This assumption provides a baseline level of performance that is neutral-to-positive.

For example, if a new cruise receives a 5-star review, the total rating will be adjusted to 4.17. Here's how it is calculated: (4 × 5) + 5 = 25 and then divided by the total number of reviews 6 (5 default + 1 actual review), resulting in 4.17

As more reviews come in, the weight of the actual reviews increases, and the influence of the prior diminishes.
