“Very poor experience of North Sailing Preveza”

Very poor communications from the Preveza North Sailing team, their base manager in Volos intervened twice to sort out big problems with the Preveza operation. On the 1st day of our charter the local team told us they were cancelling our charter when we were still moored at Preveza: the manager from Volos base saw this message on WhatsApp and contacted us to tell us to ignore everything the Preveza team has alleged, saying ‘They are thick’😱. After several issues with the boat (including no charts for the navigation system), on the final day we were left hanging around Preveza harbour for almost 6 hours in deteriorating weather as there was no berth, though we saw many other returning yachts from other charter companies mooring up. The manager from Volos told us later he was withdrawing their boats from Preveza due to the number of complaints about their team there. Initially he said he would make an offer of compensation but presumably he was overruled as he later wrote (after we chased it up) to say we should complain to Boataround as they were the booking broker and THEIR service was poor!
