Bareboat

For bareboat charter in Italy - Sardinia, a valid sailing license is required: IPC (International Proficiency Certificate) issued by ASA, US Sailing, NauticEd, RYA, IYT, or another certified school. Upon reservation of Lagoon 46 Catamaran, please upload your sailing certificate to your personal account for verification.

Security Deposit

A damage deposit of $5,825 must be paid on site at Portisco before embarkation. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the charter, provided there is no damage to the boat.
The damage deposit represents your maximum liability in case of any damage to the Catamaran Lagoon 46, Dream Lagoon.
Your maximum liability, can be reduced to $1,747 by purchasing additional insurance (damage waiver) for $932 per charter.

Payment & Cancellation

No-obligation reservation (3-day hold).
No payment is required until the booking agreement is signed.

Payment terms:

Down payment: 50%
Balance: due 30 days before departure
Extras: payable in advance, at least 30 days before the charter

Cancellation policy:

50% of the charter fee is retained for cancellations made 31 days before departure
100% of the total charter fee is non-refundable for cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the charter

“Boomerang Charter Portisco – highly recommended!”

We chartered a Dufour 41 for a week and are very satisfied. The boat is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable—especially the forward cabin with its island bed. It sails well and is easy to handle thanks to its simple sail plan. Navigation and engine performance are top-notch. Minor drawbacks: The mattresses are noticeably sagging after just two years, and one toilet was leaking. The skipper briefing with Daniele was very valuable. He analyzed the current weather conditions and used them to create specific itinerary suggestions—we were in a Mistral situation and wanted to avoid the strong winds. Daniele spontaneously put together a southern route for us with great anchorages. This allowed us to set off relaxed into an unfamiliar area. When docking in the harbors, there was always someone on hand—which was very helpful given the narrow streets in Portisco and the crosswinds. Pickup and drop-off went smoothly with a checklist. Note for those who are particular: The list doesn’t match the boat 100%, and contrary to the description, there are no automatic life jackets on board, but rather solid-foam life jackets (though fully equipped with harnesses and lights). EPIRB, life raft, and lifelines are not available—those who value these should clarify this in advance. The restroom facilities at the marina are still temporary (containers, a bit dated)—but a new building is already nearing completion. Bottom line: Great yacht, excellent service; Daniele does his job with genuine passion. We’d love to come back! ⚓
