“barche pessime, da evitare!”
Noleggiato una barca a vela Bavaria 45 per una settimana da Milazzo (Agosto 2021) La barca ci viene consegnata sporca (ripulita poi dopo ns richiesta) e senza il pieno di Gasolio. La barca è assolutamente maltenuta con impianto elettrico indecente (fili scoperti, contatti scoperti, collegamenti raffazzonati) e presenta subito gravi anomalie (elenco solo le più gravi) : - supporto del boma criccato e con perno uscente (sistemato in qualche modo) - ecoscabdaglio non funzionante (sostituito dopo 2 giorni) - impianto elettrico inadeguato e pericoloso (non si caricano le batterie 12 Volt, salpa ancora funziona a singhiozzo e solo con motore a piena potenza, frigoriferi funzionano solo con motore acceso) - non funziona elica di prua - non funziona anemometro - non funziona luce testa albero - non funziona radio VHF in chiamata - non funziona indicatore livello carburante - timoni non perfettamente funzionanti Tutte le problematiche non impattano solo sul comfort (frigoriferi non funzionanti, bevande calde e cibo avariato) ma soprattutto sulla sicurezza! Barca assolutamente inadeguata alla navigazione, armatore non affidabile, da evitare. Negli ultimi 20 anni abbiamo avuto modo di noleggiare decine e decine di barche a vela e non abbiamo mai, ripeto mai, trovato una barca con tali gravi carenze con impatto sul comfort e soprattutto sulla sicurezza. A seguito della ns esperienza (confermata anche dagli equipaggi delle altre barche a noleggio dello stesso armatore presenti alla partenza e al ritorno) l'armatore Jonio Yachting è assolutamente sconsigliabile e da evitare.

Do I need sailing or boating license for the bareboat charter?
In most of the regions, like the Caribbean, South-East Asia, Oceania, no special sailing documents are needed for the bareboat charter. The only thing you need to provide is your sailing resume, so that the base manager can see if you are qualified enough to rent Lagoon 421 Catamaran in Italy / Sicily. Once you get the approval, you are good to go.
