Weather in La Paz
February to late June and mid-October to late December is the best time of year to sail in La Paz. Summer is very long and hot in La Paz, while the winter is quite short, comfortable, and dry. Temperatures during the summer time is around 90F sometimes reaching 100F with fantastic sea temperatures of more than 80F. Low season between December and February is dry with still comfortable temperatures around 79F. Most of the rains in La Paz occur between July and October.

Sailing conditions
While planning boat charter please consider sailing conditions in La Paz with prevailing southerly winds raging between 10 to 15 knots. Most of the tropical storms during the hurricane season pass south of La Paz and the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula.
Please visit harbormaster prior to leaving the marina and share with him a detailed itinerary, including planned stops and crew information. Base manager will give you all the necessary information during the check-in procedure and briefing.
Regulations
Night sailing is forbidden. Base manager will provide you with the required park permits to visit Espiritu Santo Island. To fish from a boat in Mexico you need to hold a fishing license issued by the Mexican government. Fishing licenses can be ordered online.
Pets are not allowed on any of La Paz islands thus pets are not allowed on board of charter fleet in La Paz.
