For bareboat charter in Brazil, a valid sailing license is required: IPC (International Proficiency Certificate) issued by ASA, US Sailing, NauticEd, RYA, IYT, or another certified school. Security Deposit
A damage deposit of $900 must be paid on site at Rio de Janeiro before embarkation. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the charter, provided there is no damage to the boat.

Payment & Cancellation

No payment is required until the booking agreement is signed.

- Balance: due 45 days before departure
- Extras: payable in advance, at least 45 days before the charter
- 50% of the charter fee is retained for cancellations made 46 days before departure
- 100% of the total charter fee is non-refundable for cancellations made 45 days or less prior to the charter

What is the cancellation policy for the Delta 41 Reis charter?
Free cancellation within 4 days of the online reservation. Once you reserve the Delta 41 on the 12 Knots website, it will be held for you free of charge for 4 days.
If the booking is cancelled 46 days or more before the charter, 50% of the charter fee will be retained. No refund is available for cancellations made less than 46 days before the charter.
