For bareboat charter in Croatia, a valid sailing license is required: IPC (International Proficiency Certificate) issued by ASA, US Sailing, NauticEd, RYA, IYT, or another certified school. Skippered

A professional skipper can be provided for $256 per day. A food allowance and a dedicated cabin are required and are not included in the price.

Security Deposit

A damage deposit of $2,912 must be paid on site at Biograd before embarkation. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the charter, provided there is no damage to the boat.

“Everything went well”

We rented Bali 4.6 in May 2023. Everything went well, the boat was in a good condition and check-in procedures were without any issues.

We rented a sailing cat (Bali 4.3) out of Biograd. The boat was ok. Sailing was badly maintained as all the lines were tough going. In the middle fresh water failed as the pump was unable to create enough lift to get rid of the vacuum towards the second tank. So we had one day without water and needed to get into port for showering and eating. Also the boat took on water through both front cabin windows. According to the terms and conditions we would have been eligible for a refund for time lost. However they are offering a 5% discount on the next charter. We are talking about 1500€ for the lost day. 5% does not come close. Base operations was good and responsive, but I can not recommend this company in good conscience. Stay clear!
