“Missing key equipment”
We enjoyed our week sailing Finisterrae among the Egadi Islands. The weather was changeable, and the lack of a functioning anemometer was a major drawback and safety concern. Likewise the lack of a navigation system linked to the DSC radio, leaving us depending on our smartphones for navigation and emergency communications. It was also disappointing that it was not possible to use the main sail with the bimini up, forcing a choice between sailing and sun protection.
