1
Tivat to Sveti Marko Island
Boarding begins at 17:00 in Tivat. After settling into your cabin, enjoy a welcome drink and a short briefing with the crew before departure. We sail into the calm waters of the Bay of Kotor, one of Montenegro’s most beautiful natural harbors. Dinner onboard while the yacht anchors near the lush, pine-covered Sveti Marko Island, offering a peaceful first evening on the water.

Ljuta Bay & Kotor
After breakfast onboard, we continue sailing through the Bay of Kotor, surrounded by steep mountains and medieval villages along the shore. A swim stop and lunch await in the clear waters of Ljuta Bay. In the afternoon we arrive in Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage town famous for its medieval walls and Venetian architecture. Wander through the narrow streets of the Old Town, visit historic churches and museums, or climb the fortress stairs for panoramic views of the bay. Dinner ashore and overnight at the dock.

Dobra Luka Bay & Bigova
Start the day with breakfast followed by a guided walk through Kotor’s Old Town, learning about the town’s maritime history. Later we sail south along Montenegro’s coastline and stop for a refreshing swim in Dobra Luka Bay. Lunch is served onboard before continuing toward Bigova, a small fishing village known for its relaxed atmosphere and excellent seafood restaurants. Dinner ashore and overnight either at the dock or at anchor.

Trsteno Bay - & Budva
Breakfast is served as we continue sailing along Montenegro’s Adriatic coastline. We pause for a swim and lunch in the turquoise waters of Trsteno Bay, a scenic cove surrounded by cliffs. Later we cruise past the famous Sveti Stefan island, once a glamorous retreat for celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren. By evening we reach Budva, one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic, known for its medieval walls, lively promenade, and sandy beaches. Dinner ashore and overnight at anchor.

Jaz Beach & Lustica Bay
After breakfast, explore Budva’s historic Old Town during a guided walk through its narrow streets and ancient squares. We then sail toward Jaz Beach, one of Montenegro’s longest beaches, perfect for swimming and relaxing in the sun. Later in the afternoon we will head to modern Lustica Bay Marina, with another swim stop along the way. Enjoy a relaxed dinner onboard and spend the night anchored in the bay.

Mirista Bay & Herceg Novi
Breakfast is served as we sail toward the entrance of the Bay of Kotor. A peaceful lunch stop awaits in Tjesna Luka Bay, followed by an afternoon swim in the crystal-clear waters of Mirista Bay. By late afternoon we reach Herceg Novi, a charming coastal town located at the foot of Mount Orjen. The town is known for its historic fortresses, stone stairways, and streets filled with subtropical plants and flowers. Dinner ashore and overnight at the dock.

Morinj & Perast
On the final cruising day we sail again through the spectacular Bay of Kotor, stopping for a relaxed lunch and swim in Morinj Bay. Later we visit Perast, often called the Venice of the Adriatic, where elegant baroque palaces line the waterfront. From St. Nikola Church you can enjoy beautiful views of the bay and nearby islets. In the early evening we return to Porto Montenegro Marina in Tivat. Dinner ashore at one of the many waterfront restaurants and overnight at the marina.

Enjoy a final breakfast onboard before saying goodbye to the crew. Check-out is at 09:00 in Porto Montenegro Marina.

Breakfast and lunch are included in the price and served on board of Motor Sailor by the hostess. Soft drinks are included during meals.
During the sailing tour in Montenegro dinner is usually enjoyed ashore in local restaurants once the yacht is moored for the night.

Local taxes and port fees: $175 per person
To be paid in advance in addition to the cabin or berth price. This fee typically covers: port fees, tourist taxes, fuel costs, marina fees in Montenegro and basic provisioning.
Sailing Itinerary & Weather Conditions
The 7 days itinerary is planned in advance; however, Montenegro Cabin Charter from Tivat - 7-Day Sailing Cruise may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, port availability, and the captain's safety decisions.
The captain may modify the route or change the order of stops to ensure a safe and comfortable sailing experience on board of Motor Sailor.
Payment & Cancellation
No-obligation reservation (3 day hold).
No payment is required until the booking agreement is signed.
Payment terms:
- Down payment: 30%
- Balance: due 60 days before departure
- Extras: payable in advance, at least 60 days before the charter
Cancellation policy:
- 30% of the charter fee is retained for cancellations made 61 days before departure
- 100% of the total charter fee is non-refundable for cancellations made 60 days or less prior to the charter

How customer reviews and ratings work
We use the Average with Prior (also known as Bayesian Average) to calculate the total rating for each sailing cruise
Since new cruises could have very few reviews, each review can significantly impact the average score, potentially leading to misleading representations of the total score (e.g., one very positive or very negative review skewing the overall rating). To mitigate this, we use a "prior" or "default" score.
This means that each cruise, by default, starts with a rating of 4, which is calculated from 5 hypothetical reviews, each rated 4. This assumption provides a baseline level of performance that is neutral-to-positive.
For example, if a new cruise receives a 5-star review, the total rating will be adjusted to 4.17. Here's how it is calculated: (4 × 5) + 5 = 25 and then divided by the total number of reviews 6 (5 default + 1 actual review), resulting in 4.17
As more reviews come in, the weight of the actual reviews increases, and the influence of the prior diminishes.
