Experience a Red Sea dive safari from Hurghada to Daedalus, Zabargad, and Rocky Island. This liveaboard route takes you to some of Egypt’s most remote and pristine dive sites, where you can explore vibrant coral reefs, dramatic walls, and the chance to spot pelagic species in crystal-clear waters. Starting and ending in Hurghada, this safari is ideal for divers seeking adventure and world-class underwater encounters.

Day 1 Hurghada

Arrival in Hurghada or Marsa Alam and transfer to the boat. Check-in, dinner, and the first night is spent in the harbor.

Day 2 Abu Dabab

Departure in the morning. Boat briefing, dive, safety, and equipment briefing. Dives at Abu Dabab.

Day 3 Daedalus Reef

3 dives at Daedalus Reef.

Day 4 Daedalus Reef

3 dives at Daedalus Reef.

Day 5 Rocky Island

Dives around Rocky Island and Zabargad.

Day 6 Sataya

Dives at: Sataya Shaab Claude Abu Galawa Soraya Night dive at Gota Bohar

Day 7 Hurghada

Dives at Elphinstone Reef and Abu Dabab. Return to the harbor. For safety reasons, you should not dive within 24 hours of your return flight.

Day 8 Hurghada or Marsa Alam

Breakfast and check-out by 10:00 AM. Transfer to the airport or hotel.

How customer reviews and ratings work

We use the Average with Prior (also known as Bayesian Average) to calculate the total rating for each sailing cruise

Since new cruises could have very few reviews, each review can significantly impact the average score, potentially leading to misleading representations of the total score (e.g., one very positive or very negative review skewing the overall rating). To mitigate this, we use a "prior" or "default" score.

This means that each cruise, by default, starts with a rating of 4, which is calculated from 5 hypothetical reviews, each rated 4. This assumption provides a baseline level of performance that is neutral-to-positive.

For example, if a new cruise receives a 5-star review, the total rating will be adjusted to 4.17. Here's how it is calculated: (4 × 5) + 5 = 25 and then divided by the total number of reviews 6 (5 default + 1 actual review), resulting in 4.17

As more reviews come in, the weight of the actual reviews increases, and the influence of the prior diminishes.
