Austria“AYC Charter”
Booked in summer 2022 a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45, built in year 2000. Worst condition of a boat ever found in over 30 years of charter. Leaking windows, motor failure, wooden deck not properly repaired, toilet was smelly, upholstering in the main cabin a desaster. Sister ship in similar condition.

Do I need sailing or boating license for the bareboat charter?
In most of the regions, like the Caribbean, South-East Asia, Oceania, no special sailing documents are needed for the bareboat charter. The only thing you need to provide is your sailing resume, so that the base manager can see if you are qualified enough to rent Sun Odyssey 40 Sailing yacht in Croatia.
