“Mr”
I chartered Bavaria Cruiser 46 "Oceanos" in Sept 2021. The bow thruster did not work, the mainsail (torn in half) was repaired in such amateur way, that we could hardy sail on it, 4 out of 9 door locks did not work (we had to use silver tape to keep doors closed), stern bathing platform could not be lowered (so we could not have any swimming), radio broke down (so we could not ask for the assistance entering Lavrio in the wind of 7 B). What's more, emergency phone did not answer. Sorry to say, but if you want to waste your holidays - use Hermes Yachting !

Great variety of yachts and friendly staff. We sailed on a HANSE 458 in September from Lavrio. The boat was in mint condition. Also the marina is very modern and with great facilities.

Do I need sailing or boating license for the bareboat charter?
In most of the regions, like the Caribbean, South-East Asia, Oceania, no special sailing documents are needed for the bareboat charter. The only thing you need to provide is your sailing resume, so that the base manager can see if you are qualified enough to rent Bavaria Cruiser 45 Sailing yacht in Greece. Once you get the approval, you are good to go.
