“Very disappointed”
Very disappointed. First, they gave us completely broken outboard, it was running, but not propelling forward (broken transmission), so it was not possible to check it on land. We have not used it even for a minute, and they refused to return our money. I think it’s plain cheating. Second – anchor chain was not connected to the board, we lost anchor with chain and had to spend a lot of time and dive 27 meters to recover it. Not a charter company I would recommend, you can’t relay on their honesty and their equipment.

Do I need sailing or boating license for the bareboat charter?
In most of the regions, like the Caribbean, South-East Asia, Oceania, no special sailing documents are needed for the bareboat charter. The only thing you need to provide is your sailing resume, so that the base manager can see if you are qualified enough to rent Bavaria 42 Sailing yacht in Turkey.
