Venice sailing vacation, cabin charter on crewed yacht

Day
1
Sile River Natural Park
Arrival to the base and check in till 6 pm. The skipper will make short briefing and show guests the boat and the crew. At the end of the day, we’ll make a short passage to the historical center of the Sile River Natural Park a true oasis and peaceful green area a few miles away from Venice. It is one of the most beautiful landscapes you will encounter along the navigable waterways of Italy. Starting from the base in Casale ul Sile you will be immersed in nature. One side has a cycle path and you may decide to stay on boat of to take a bike ride.

2
Burano
A small island of a thousand of colors, traditional lace, and delicious “buranei” biscuits. The ancient tradition of handmade lace making is still alive and well presented in numerous of shops. From here you can visit the archaeological site of Torcello.

3
Cavallino
Short passage to the island of San Francesco del Deserto famous for its sixteenth-century monastery. After visiting the monastery we will sail to the northern part of Venice lagoon, a true natural oasis. End of the day we’ll spend in Cavallino, located on the Adriatic coast with great scenery and perfect place for swimming.

Venice
Early morning we will head towards Venice, the most beautiful city in the world welcomes us with a spectacular view of its most famous attractions, seen from the unusual viewpoint of the water, exactly like boatmen did hundreds of years ago when Venice was not connected to the mainland.

5
Chioggia
Beautiful passage alongside the fishing island of Pellestrina, and by the end of the day we’ll reach Chioggia. This small town welcomes us to its historic center with its traditional boats, famous fish market, warm atmosphere and its restaurants serving local delicacies.

Sant Erasmo
This remote island is unknown to most of the tourists. Quite and secluded it boasts one of the most beautiful sunsets in Venice, it also known as Venice’s vegetable garden, so here you may buy freshest local products, or rent a bike and visit local Venetian vineyards.

7
Casale
Time to return to the home base. We will cruise the cool waters of the Sile river and reach the base in the afternoon. We suggest to spend the second half-day visiting the historic center of Treviso, a spectacular, lively and monumental medieval city. It can also get there by bicycle offered at the base.
