Introduction

Grenada is an ideal destination for your sailing vacation. 12 Knots offers cabin charter that suite everyone, whether you don’t know how to sail, or you simply want to relax and experience life aboard on a crewed luxury yacht.

Day 1 Port Louis Marina

Board your boat between 17:00 and 18:00 (05:00 and 06:00 pm) and enjoy a relaxing evening getting acquainted with the boat's systems and features in preparation for departure the following day. Dinner aboard or enjoy the facilities at Port Louis Marina.

Day 2 Cariaccou

Have an exhilarating day sail to Tyrrel Bay, Carriacou. Anchor amongst the local fishing boats and enjoy a stroll and drink ashore at one of the many rum shops. The Carriacou Yacht Club offers a good welcome to visitors. Complete customs formalities and head for Sandy Island for the night.

Day 3 Union island

Breakfast and swim at Sandy Island, a flawless piece of sand with no more than half a dozen palm trees. Watch the pelicans performing aerobatics around your boat as you eat. After breakfast and a snorkel, sail over to Union Island and complete check in formalities for St. Vincent at Clifton Harbour. Continue around to the West of Union Island for a short distance and drop anchor at Chatham Bay for the night.

Day 4 Mayreau

After a short hop to delightful Salt Whistle Bay, anchor early and enjoy an afternoon at this tranquil spot with swimming and beach-combing or taking an invigorating walk up the hill to view the spectacular sight of the Tobago Cays to the East.

Day 5 Tobago Cays

Enjoy a nice breakfast and take a short sail to the Tobago Cays and the highlight of your trip; spend the day snorkeling the reef, swimming with turtles and exploring by dinghy, or just stay on board and marvel at the natural beauty of the Tobago Cays.

Day 6 Petit St Vincent

After a leisurely breakfast, sail back to Clifton for check out, and then head for the west side of stunning Petit St Vincent for an evening snorkel and dinner aboard or on the beach.

Day 7 Pricky Bay

Have an awesome sail southbound to the delightful Prickly Bay on Grenada for the last night and enjoy the extended happy hour at Prickly Bay marina before dinner back to your boat.

Day 8 Port Louis

An early breakfast aboard as you take the short trip ( 1.5 hrs ) around Salines Point at the Southern tip of the island in preparation for your arrival back at Port Louis Marina. Gather your belongings and check-out from the boat and enjoy a few hours on Grand Anse beach, or shop in St Georges at the markets before heading to the airport - only 15 minutes away.

Cruise reviews

Customer reviews for the company operating the cruise

How customer reviews and ratings work

We use the Average with Prior (also known as Bayesian Average) to calculate the total rating for each sailing cruise

Since new cruises could have very few reviews, each review can significantly impact the average score, potentially leading to misleading representations of the total score (e.g., one very positive or very negative review skewing the overall rating). To mitigate this, we use a "prior" or "default" score.

This means that each cruise, by default, starts with a rating of 4, which is calculated from 5 hypothetical reviews, each rated 4. This assumption provides a baseline level of performance that is neutral-to-positive.

For example, if a new cruise receives a 5-star review, the total rating will be adjusted to 4.17. Here's how it is calculated: (4 × 5) + 5 = 25 and then divided by the total number of reviews 6 (5 default + 1 actual review), resulting in 4.17

As more reviews come in, the weight of the actual reviews increases, and the influence of the prior diminishes.
